Now let's say that for some reason you
made a rectangular brush and applied the "dday/base_wallppr" texture to
it (perhaps you're making a wall). You think everything is peachy,
but OH DARN! I want the stripes to be horizontal and they're vertical...

No problemmo! Just select the
correct face, grab the lone floating blue dot (part of the "texture L",
circled below)...

...and yank it around until your texture
has the desired orientation:

Now you can play around with
other texture options to give it the right look.
