 Improved fire for EGL users.
Hey i took the stock dday fire and made it better. Higher res and transparent with a shader so it acts like a particle. This changes the fire that is seen on the ground after a flamer attack. Also the flame that is on the player when he is lit on fire. And the explosion that you see when he blows up after being on fire. And the flamers' flame, itself. It's a .pkz...so just place this in your /dday folder. http://www.filefront.com/15489459/dday_fx.pkz

Looks great except for one thing:  This is what shows up when I use it. Is it a bug or is it because my EGL is shitty?

weird... I don't know why those images would show up... But, it does appear your EGL is either borked, still...or you need updated video card drivers.

EGL lags for me like hell, 1280x800 on a 3 year old laptop. I get 10 fps in most of the places

Actually it's better now.
Do you have more updates in one place? I can't seem to figure out which one of your EGL distributions is the newest one.

http://www.filefront.com/user/RabdYou can find all my .pkz packs here except the knife one...can't find that one, atm. ....or you can download my DDay2_dev_v1.0.zip and it has all of them in the \baseq2 folder. Then make us a map...
