Skinning

Anyone have any knowledge on how this works for q2?

Limitations for colors in r1q2?
Programs for skinning?
- I have tread 3d which works ok for viewing models and skins..



I would like to attempt to reskin current models starting with weapons..

You need to unwrap your model, then use that 2D version of your model to put the skin over.
If you are trying to skin existing models, just open their skins and have a look.
