ok i got some of it done, this will work as a cvar i guess, basically it shrinks down everything except the map!
quick size reference for those whove played my lame test map
now comes the fun part! adding in the vehicles and making a prototype map for this mode, going to skip the vis and rad and basically mesh it out with terrain and vertex shading.

The skins on those players need much more detail. Right now they look awfully bland.

Dunno if you've looked into it but since you seem to be focusing a lot on distance fighting, I'd suggest that using the ironsights zoom in by a certain percentage, to simulate the loss of peripheral vision from focusing. Also this can be made to balance certain weapons, like submachineguns and assault rifles zoom in slightly less than full battlerifles. Hostile Intent does this and it works very well in my opinion.

While the size is impressive, how do you plan on filling it with detail without choking the engine?

this terrain method doesnt choke the engine in the least.
you can easily place forests and towns using the same method

hey grim do we have to remake the maps so the player model can fix it or do you have a nomal player and a small model???
