Exactly what I was talking about! The lasers will probably be mounted first - then in probably 5-10 years the rail guns will be mounted on ships

I don't think they are on any ships yet. The new laser system might be going through sea trials now but I know they haven't mounted a railgun on a ship yet. I believe the plan is to mount a railgun for trials on a ship next year.
