Cathedral

A 80 y.o. man has almost finished constructing a renacentist cathedral on his own. He did it with waste materials and scrap metal, also some gifts from ppl.
he did it on his own, without any kind of artistic or architecture studies. learnt by himself havin a look to some old renacentist architecture books. no plans, no big machines. just him. he barely finished it... i know that this sounds like a joke. but its true. we took some pics....

some kind of crypt between the 2 main churches.

as you can see it isnt finished yet.. we wonder if he will make it...

this is from the inside of the main church. believe me if i say that its really BIG and impressive even if its made with shit.

The first few thumbnails look like screenies from a fps. Maybe my new map....hmmmm...
He should have just built it as a .bsp.

that man has been working 42 years on it. he was a monk, but he had tuberculosis (sp?) and he was kicked out of the monastery. then he felt like god wanted him to do something special and he started building it. he said he doesnt want help; he will make it until god gives him the neccesay will to do it. i dont believe in god, but this guy will have a place in heaven.
