New or Old Squads?

Hey all, I just started playing again after a *very* long absence. I used to be part of 1RB, the orignal SS and one more... possibly SA? I honestly don't even remember it was so long ago but 1RB and SS were the only ones that really mattered.

I was wondering if there was any actual squad goings on lately. I kind of feel naked without a tag on my name. I kinda left 1RB abruptly and in disgrace by joining their arch-rival, SS (which eventually had its final death-throes under my watch) so I doubt I'd be able to use either of those tags again...

I've been playing a lot of World of Tanks lately but I haven't had this much fun playing that as I do DDay. Especially earlier today when we had 8 actual peeps playing! Seeing the last talk of a squad match was a couple years ago, I take it there aren't any really active squads now?

I currently hold a perfect squad match record and I'd love to add to it! Though 1RB really was a machine when it came to matches - especially when it came to Simserhof Bunker... Fafner actually would pull out sections of that map as sort of mini maps to practice small sections of it. For example, we learned EXACTLY when to pull the pin on the elevator up to the gun to where it would go off at just the right moment to take out anyone camping at the top.

Well.. all my real life friends already got an ear full of DDay about a decade ago. None of them are really FPS players anyhow... we'll have to find online ways to advertize it. Too bad none of us have an "in" with one of the bigger YouTube gamer personalities...

You can use whatever tag you want, I think if we throw all active people together, you might have enough players for 1 clan

Waaaaaait a second.....you play World o Tanks? Any World of Warplanes? I used to be on the tanks a bit. Though got more into the planes. Ran into Karr randomly one day.

Yeah - I play quite a bit of WoT. Have a pretty respectable 54% win rate even. I played a little bit of world of warplanes during the beta. I was really excited for it considering I've always liked planes more than tanks but for some reason, it just never grabbed hold of me.

Now, the game I'll eventually get into is Star Citizen. I already have access to the game and a basic ship, but I'm holding off on playing it for now until it's a bit more developed & I know that it will just suck the life right out of me when I start.

Star Citizen! YES! I need more HD space.....in the same boat though. Waiting for more stuff. At least we can shoot at shit and it looks cool. WOWP sucked once is went open. Not enough people playing it so the time waiting for a game to drop takes forever.
