It's good practice in batch conversion and someone might find them useful. I noticed some textures are actually smaller than the .WAL version. This could decrease the size of the download a little since there are a lot of textures.

i posted this cause some on the textures are high quality and very useful but u cant use the water (PS) what is a good q3 texture shader editor

because all a .shader is is a couple dozen lines of text that can be edited in notepad

trying to use the original dday textures for a q3 map is a waste of time.
Might aswell make a q2 dday map.

ya but there arent enough textures for everything may as well just use the originals for now and anyway some of the textures are actually hi quality

ok. i can see that. But, convert them to either 24 bit .jpg or .png images.
they use alot less space.

dont really no how to do that anyway can u make a water shader for me cause i dont no how or just tell me how to with a lot of detail

There is one in the dev kit already.. under liquids if I am not mistaken.. I will make you one tonight if I have the time 8)
