D-Day in the UK server

I've been playing about with hosting a server again, and because my PC now doesn't like being switched on, I won't turn it off anymore :)
I have no idea about settings or anything like that, but if anyone wants to try it out or whatever, it is here....

Good to see more servers running. I think we might have more servers than players now.

"Yay!" is probably a tad over excitement :D

Inf is spot on really.... nobody has checked it out and I haven't even noticed anyone on yours this week Dirk :(

and how come my banner thing says 0/10 ? It's set for 20 (I was wrongly expecting an influx of new european players :D )

The only servers I see up at the moment are Dirk's bot server, Erwin's(which is pathetically out of date), and Nightrider's. This means one of Dirk's is down or the ip has changed AGAIN. Infy's and Nightrider's don't seem to be up all the time. What's the ip to your's Parts?

Yeah, I wasn't sure if that was a current ip or not because it's showing as offline!

Here is the ip of my server 50.45.81.235:27910. However, it does change frequently. It is listed on q2servers.com. I dont know why it does not show in the browsers.

If the IP changes a lot, register an account on afraid.org.
They have a large database of free dynamic DNS servers and you can pick whatever you want.

I got inferno.stfu-kthx.net, inferno.roflmayo.com and inferno.titsorgtfo.org just in case 1 of them goes down. It's free after all. They all lead to the same dynamic IP.

My server is down for a couple of days on vacation here. Tried to wake on internet and server will not start up. It started fine from home but not here in Maine. My new pc is all set up to go online also when I get back. Its a 2.8 duel-core with 4gb of ram. Also playing with the idea of having my ip go to a free dynamic DNS to make things easier for players to logon.

That kind dude is what has kept D-Day Q2 MOD thriving. :D

I will set up a server, as soon as I can, though..

As long as I live, there shall be some D-Day Q2 to play! I still love this game, over any other ..
