Do you have a map about the Poles landing at Normandy?
I just finished my "Not Another Beach Map" and was going to release it, but if you don't have one on the Poles at Normandy you are welcome to it. I like it, it plays a bit like dday1 in that there are trenches, blow a few things up, capture and recapture or not bunkers, win by kills. Still needs team testing.
There is a protection system that if the axis get to close to the beach the allies win. Also need to use the skydistance dll (I included it) because it is large.
Anyway let me know.
Thanks
Munf
PS
Instead of having the team lose, maybe one of those push commands to just shove the german back would work. I will have to check and see if its trigger can be team specific.

O but you are incorrect, the Poles did land on DDAY, under British command though armed by the US, like the Canadians.
"The Poles' willingness and keenness to continue fighting Nazi Germany was exploited first by the French and later by the British. Both governments appreciated the influx of highly motivated manpower to swell their military potential. In Britain, the Polish government in exile, led by General Sikorski, had under its command approximately 25,000 fighting men who had been evacuated with British units from the coast of France in June 1940. These units took part in the Normandy landing in 1944 and fought in France under British command. A Polish Air Force consisting of Fighter and Bomber units was also established in Britain and a number of naval units that had managed to escape from the Baltic in 1939 were attached to the British Navy."

They also fought in North Africa and Italy. They assaulted Monte Cassino at least twice and I think were the ones that finally took it. They landed at Arnhem to reinforce the Brit 6th (getting rather badly slaughtered).
You could use this particular dll to fight a lot of the major battles of WW2 because Poles were there.
Here are photos of the Omaha beach. As you can see it is a gradual lift cliff except at the ends, covered in grass with hedgelines all through the cliff work. I didn't want to make it bigger as ussually there aren't that many that play on a given map.

Actually the Canadians landed at their own designated beaches in their own regiments and battallions commanded by canadian Co's. They didn't use american equipment either, where are you getting your info?Mr. YOur no fun wrote:O but you are incorrect, the Poles did land on DDAY, under British command though armed by the US, like the Canadians.

Everyone one knows the Canadians landed at Juno. What does this have to do with the Poles landing at Normandy? As far as my source it is in the text you quoted, They were under British command and landed at the British beaches.
And from what I have read about the Canadian forces they used a lot of US equipment though they were under British command. They also trained a lot with the US. There was a point where the Canadian military was going to be part of the US command structure but it was later decided to place them under UK command, I think because they were still connected to the King and Queen at that point.
Any way, there were Polish troops involved in the Normandy Landing. Just not in Division size units.
