Func_wall oddity

I have been playing my map rmg2b, the British landing with bots map of the 19 map cycle I made, and discovered that if a German is in the area of the hill that springs in to existence when the bunker is blown up then the German is stuck in the hill and starts shooting British, with no way to kill the German. Which is odd because a func_wall is supposed to kill everything in it's way when it toggles on. And I don't see a way to change it, short of a ton of explosions along the entire hill to kill everything.

Something changed over the years because this didn't happen long ago, is a galaxy far far away.
