FOV way too narrow

Hey everyone,

Recently I downloaded this mod and I'm really enjoying it. However, the FOV, on my 2560x1080 display, is far too narrow. Changing it in the console using the fov command only works for the spectator cam. Any suggestions or is there no proper widescreen support yet?

The FOV is locked so everyone has the same view and people can't change it to see behind them and so it matches the human eye. I never tried a 2560x1080 display so I don't know how much of an issue it is on there, but development is basically finished for this game so it's unlikely to be changed.

Yikes, that really bites. A bit of a game-breaker if you ask me; my display makes it look like I'm playing with an FOV of 40 or 50. I guess I'll just uninstall it then.

any chance you could post a screenshot, (mostly out of curiosity)? It's possible you might be able to override it with some other quake 2 engine, don't know.

Unless you are using the hi rez maps I made I don't know that the graphics will improve with that large an fov. Though you could reduce it in the options so the game looks like it did when it was created.
