Hi my friend, Merry Xmas to you and family too.

I really haven't seen {virtually] Pepper or Parts for about 17 years.... although I did call Pepper around 2014 (DDay landings 70th) for a brief chat .

Truck loads, but one I always remember was (1AD)Matthias, a Dutch lad, always polite and became a good friend.

Of course, all the OSS guys too, especially AfrowUK - his mapping skills took this game to an unseen level!

And you too! The train! Great map.

I have read some stuff I done years ago and honestly can't remember how I coded it or whatever.

Anyway, good stuff :-)

Just a reminder - nearly here again!

I am over 60 now, that means, on average, I have been asleep for over 20 years of my life!

Re: Udpated to Ubuntu 18.04 and getting "received Signal 11"

I think you will need to get the source and recompile to use the latest libs on the new system - without being at your computer, that is a guess. If there is any problems when building, GCC will squinny.

Trouble is, it will not stop some twat registering on the board and using a bot to post loads of crap.

Also, I am sure Fafner is well capable of doing it anyway.

Re: Summer 2017 check in.

Oh yes. Plus I get to play with Hexagon's PC-DMIS software on a Romer Arm (with a laser scanner) and a £250,000 CMM machine and M3 software on a Vision Hawk Duo. Amazing how all those years ago using Quark and Quake2 mapping tools and coding (plus blender) comes in real handy 18 years later. PC-DMIS...
