This task depends upon
When firing the sniper rifle instead of ejecting the shell casing, I switch weapons twice, I always felt like this was faster than that mini-reload.
When doing this, very often I receive more ammo when switching back to the rifle. But it happens with any weapon.
Should I open a seperate bug for the switching of the sniper rifle? I never ever do that, I switch and switch back so it doesn't require to eject.
And maybe I'm reloading, firing my rifle and switch weapons all in 1...

I can't get the demo to run anymore, both on r1q2 and egl.... ffs....
Empty the clip a little first, it doesn't have to be completely empty, but I usually leave it at 1 or 0 bullets left.
That didn't narrow it down, did it?
I'll try to record a demo again with r1q2 so i can watch it and see what i'm doing when it occurs.

I spend all evening with Joey trying to narrow it down and I just can't find it. It doesn't happen all the time.
The clip doesn't have to be empty, it doesn't have to be dday2 and it doesn't have to be the Mauser.
I guess this bug will stay open.
edit: I joined Mavericksservers.com's dday server, voted dday1, map loaded
I selected autoselect, i went axis, i chose infantry
I emptied the clip in truesight, switched to grenades and back using weapnext and weapprev without pushing any of the other buttons and it gave me a full clip.
edit2: I noticed when switching to the mauser, it will show how much ammo you have left instantly after the weapon is switched, but with this bug the ammount of ammo gets changed a split second after showing the value (going from 0 to 10, you can see it changing), you can see it in the youtube vid
1 empty the whole clip of the weapon,(smg,m1garand or even with mauser,sniper rifles,lmgs)
2 switch to another weapon,knife,fists,nades or to a secondary weapon.
3 then go back to the weapon you're unloaded and it mostly times (about 70% of the times) will have a whole new clip,or half,or a random number of bullets inside,can even be 1 if you're unlucky,lol.
Once with this bug I managed to have a 11 clip in my M1 Garand,and another time 9,but thats rare,mostly happens that it gives back a full clip or half.
Hoping this can help you to fix the problem and not to use it in games lol.
